Chiswick is home to Michelin-starred restaurants, unique bars and restaurants, coffee bars, bakers, artisan traders and retailers of wine, meat, fish, books and all round great foodie stuff. This Summer it will also be home to the inaugural EatChiswick food and drink festival. Running from June 1 to 8 across Chiswick, it promises to bring over a week of epicurean excitement and tasty theatre to our streets.
AIMS FOR EATCHISWICK
EatChiswick will be an exciting experience for the community and visitors to the area with all that’s on offer from over 200 venues. We aim to increase domestic and international tourists, plus day visitors to the food, drink, hospitality and retail venues in the Chiswick. This in turn will support the high street with the extra footfall leading to a halo effect of increased sales all round. There will be promotions and events supported by extensive pre-promotion in April and May.
Participate: You can take part in the festival if you’re in the business of food, drink, leisure and hospitality. Whether you are a restaurant, pub, bar, coffee shop, a retailer of food or books, a hotel or a nutritionist, this event is for you. Participants and sponsors will benefit from an extensive PR and marketing campaign as well materials such as a social media guide book, posters for your venue and as well as branding for your web sites.
Sponsor: You can also join in the fun as a sponsor and put your name to EatChiswick. As well as associating your brand with a major new event, there will be sampling, promotions and event opportunities to help leverage your involvement. You will also be supporting a major initiative in your community, helping other businesses grow and strengthening our local economy.
Partner: We are looking for businesses to partner with; from advertising agencies to zucchini growers and everything in between, we want to work with you – let’s talk!
Please contact Eva Keogan firstname.lastname@example.org for further information on how to sign up and participate.

What to expect?
If you’re wondering what to expect from EatChiswick, take a look at our great ShopChiswick ‘Tweet the Streets’ event for Small Business Saturday. We partnered with Brompton Bike Hire and over 20 businesses to make a huge difference to the high street by creating buzz and excitement. We generated over 800 tweets and reached over a million people in just a few days. This, coupled with extensive media coverage generated by the event helped increase footfall to local businesses in a creative and engaging way. EatChiswick will do much the same but on a grander scale.
