We have some extra news about two classes created specially for the festival.

As part of this year’s EatChiswick festival, Borough Kitchen invites you to join a 30-minute knife skills session, where you will learn how to properly hold and use a chef’s and Santoku knife. Classes take place on Saturday June 3 or Sunday June 4 in-store – for timings and tickets see details on the Book Your Place link.

Led by one of Borough Kitchen’s trained chefs, you will walk away with the knowledge of:

Eat Chiswick

EatChiswick 30-Minute Knife Skills Class

  • how to properly hold a knife
  • the difference between Japanese and Western knives
  • how to use a rocking cutting motion
  • how to create traditional cuts such as chiffonade, haché, slice, and fine dice

Borough Kitchen is handling the ticketing for this event.

Each session is limited to 6 participants and costs £5. At the end of the session, each attending participant will receive a special £10 gift certificate towards any purchase made in-store.
