EatChiswick 2017 - celebration time

EatChiswick Food and Drink Festival had its first year in 2015 and involved over 100 local businesses over the eight day festival. The aim of the festival is to tell the great story of the area which has a rich history steeped food and drink, from the historic and popular Fuller’s Brewery through to the origin of the area’s name Cheese-Wick.

The thing is, Chiswick is often overlooked as it’s on the periphery of Central London and yet it houses hundreds of high profile and artisan companies who are crying out for attention and deserve a bit of a celebration now and then.  With EatChiswick Food and Drink Festival now in it’s third year, that should soon change and the more people who get involved the better.

Are you a business based in the London Borough of Hounslow or trading as a food stall in the area? EatChiswick is open to all sorts of businesses in all sorts of ways and here’s how:

Restaurants, pubs & bars – sign up to be an official venue. You will need to present an EatChiswick festival special on your menu and if you like host a tasting, talk or walk or whatever works best. We’ve held wildly successful events at George IV (beer festival), Jackson + Rye (rye tasting), Outsider Tart (cocktails, comedy and nibbles).

Market traders – we hold a two day pop up street food market which is very popular on Chiswick High Road between Linden Gardens and Chiswick High Road, let us know if you’re interested, some space still available

Cafes and coffee shops – please sign up to participate and we will be creating Walking Tours and Talks this year so would love to have you as a venue.

Shops – we’ve had lots of fun with non food venues and have had chefs to food sampling and demos as well as exciting activities for kids like cake decorating – get in touch so we can chat

Businesses & workspaces – we actively encourage businesses to participate in EatChiswick by allowing their employees to have a long lunch break during the festival and take advantage of the special menus. We are also on the look out for venues to use for talks and events. This year’s theme is Walks and Talks so let us know if you want to be involved – taking your team on an EatChiswick Food & Drink Festival guided tour might be just the thing you need for a team building session!
